Mishimoto Front Mount Intercooler Kit For Subaru Fits Wrx 01-07

The Mishimoto WRX and STI front mount intercooler kit will be sure to give your Subaru the ability to make the most horsepower and torque possible.

This intercooler kit was designed with a 28-row core that provides the best cooling potential with excess pressure drops that could wear out the turbocharger. 

This intercooler has done away with brittle plastic end tanks and uses smooth cast ends to provide the best airflow and heat exchange properties. 

Supplied with mandrel-bent pipework, the pipes are 2.25 in diameter, which will keep airflow velocities high whilst keeping a responsive throttle. 

On the cold side of this intercooler, you'll find more mandrel-bent aluminium tubing, this is also doing the job of keeping airflow to a maximum yet lag to a minimum; this pipework is also compatible with both OEM and aftermarket blow-off valves. 

Due to extensive research and development, this kit comes with everything you need for a stress-free installation, with all the hardware and pipe work included, and you won't have to cut or drill to install the intercooler or crash bar. 

For cars running turbos larger than stock, Mishimoto has included a larger turbo pipe; this will fit a turbocharger with an outlet of 2-2.13.

This kit has been flow-tested to over 600bhp without issue and is perfect for any high-performance STI and WRX build.

NOTES

Reservoir tank may require modification for proper fitment. Mishimoto recommends that this intercooler kit, with or without the optional air intake, is not used with the stock ECU programming. It is highly recommended that the customer is able to retune the vehicle's ECU after installing the intercooler kit.

Power gains will vary depending on the size of the turbo, exhaust system, fuel system, and type of ECU tune that is applied to the vehicle. This kit is rated for approximately 700 whp, or 30 psi of turbo boost. Exceeding these horsepower or pressure limits may require a custom-sized front-mount intercooler.
