Exoracing Quick Release Button Installation Guide:

Installing Exoracing quick release buttons is a straightforward process. However, here's a guide to ensure the best results possible. As always, if you are not comfortable with these processes or working with tools, we recommend a professional installation. 

1. Step one is deciding where you would like to mount your quick release button.
2. Check that there is a surface to mount the ball-headed stud under the bumper you're working on. 
3. Mark where you will fit the stud, and check that this aligns with the bumper. 
4. You can now drill a 12mm hole into the mounting surface, and you are ready to install the stud.
5. Thread a washer and nut onto the back of the stud, then another washer and nut on the top of the stud to clamp the mounting surface. Leave this finger tight for quick adjustment until you're happy with the fitment. 
6. Next, on the panel that will house the quick-release button, use a punch to mark the centre of where it will be located. 
7. Using a 38mm hole saw bit, drill the hole through the bumper or panel you want to fasten.
8. Separate the threaded part from the back of the button, feed the button into the new hole from the top and then thread on the back part.
9. Out of the small screws provided, thread the most suitable ones into the bottom of the button and tighten with the Allen key provided to stop the button from spinning in its location.
10. Install the bumper or panel onto the car, push the quick-release button into the ball, and wait to hear and feel the click to ensure it's seated correctly.
11. You can now make any final adjustments to the threaded stud to ensure the perfect fitment of your bumper.
12. Now everything is aligned and adjusted correctly, tighten the 19mm nuts on the bar to secure the studs. 
13. You're now all done, and you can repeat this for as many Exoracing quick-release buttons as you've purchased! Remember to tag us in any photos on social media, as we'd love to see them!
