Orders & Pricing

We do our best to keep all product information, stock status, and pricing accurate.

If a product is discontinued, unavailable, or incorrectly listed, we will contact you and try to offer a suitable alternative where possible. Price differences may apply.

Product Suitability

Many performance parts, especially universal heat management products, depend on vehicle layout, available space, operating temperatures, installation quality, and surrounding components.

Heat Management Product Use

Exoracing heat management products are designed to help reduce heat transfer, protect nearby components, and improve heat control in performance applications.

Heat management products do not remove heat completely. They should be used as part of a sensible installation that considers clearance, airflow, material limits, fuel lines, wiring, plastics, hoses, and nearby components.

Motorsport, Off-Road & High-Stress Use

Some products sold by Exoracing may be used in motorsport, track, race, drift, drag, off-road, or high-stress environments.

These uses place greater stress on parts than normal road use. Higher temperatures, vibration, aggressive driving, increased boost, modified engines, and unusual packaging can all affect product life and performance.

Where products are used in motorsport, off-road, competition, or high-stress applications, the customer accepts that wear, fatigue, heat damage, and reduced product lifespan may occur more quickly.

Installation Responsibility

All products must be installed correctly and in line with good mechanical practice.

Exoracing is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation, poor fitment, unsuitable use, lack of clearance, contact with moving parts, poor maintenance, or failure to check surrounding components.

We strongly recommend professional installation if you are unsure.

It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner, installer, or workshop to make sure the product is safely fitted, secured, and suitable for the intended use.

Performance Claims & Test Data

Any temperature reductions, performance figures, test results, product comparisons, or claims shown on our website, videos, product pages, or marketing materials are based on specific tests, specific vehicles, or real-world examples.

Results can vary depending on the vehicle, engine setup, turbo setup, installation quality, airflow, ambient temperature, driving style, material condition, and distance from the heat source.

Exoracing does not guarantee identical results across every vehicle or application.

Any test data should be used as a guide to help customers understand potential benefits, not as a guaranteed outcome.

Product Specific Warnings

Turbo Blankets

• Turbo blankets must be fitted securely and should not contact moving parts
• They should not be forced onto an unsuitable turbo housing
• They may smoke or smell during initial heat cycles as materials settle
• Clearance around oil lines, coolant lines, wiring, and plastics must be checked
• Turbo blankets reduce radiant heat, but do not remove the need for safe routing and clearance

Exhaust Wrap

• The exhaust wrap must be installed tightly and secured correctly
• Wrapped exhaust parts may retain more heat than unwrapped parts
• Incorrect use may affect the lifespan of thin, damaged, or poor-quality exhaust materials
• Wrap may smoke, smell, or discolour during first use
• Regular checks are recommended, especially on high-heat or motorsport applications

Heat Reflective Tape & Sheet

• Reflective materials work best against radiant heat, not direct flame or direct exhaust contact
• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and suitable before application
• Adhesive performance can vary depending on surface preparation, temperature, material, and contamination
• Reflective tape should not be treated as a substitute for proper clearance from extreme heat sources

Silicone Fibreglass Heat Sleeve

• The heat sleeve should be correctly sized for the hose, wiring, or line it is protecting
• Ends should be secured where needed to prevent movement or fraying
• Heat sleeve helps protect against heat exposure, but does not guarantee protection from direct flame, abrasion, or poor routing
• Fuel lines, brake lines, and wiring should still be routed safely away from extreme heat wherever possible

Wastegate Blankets & Heat Shields

• Wastegate blankets and heat shields must be installed securely
• They must not interfere with moving parts, linkages, clamps, sensors, or boost control hardware
• Clearance should be checked after installation and after heat cycling
• Nearby hoses, wiring, and plastics should still be inspected regularly

Maintenance & Inspection

Performance parts should be inspected regularly, especially after installation, heat cycling, hard use, track use, or motorsport use.

Customers should check for movement, rubbing, loose fixings, heat damage, wear, contamination, and clearance issues.

Failure to inspect and maintain products may lead to premature wear, reduced performance, or damage to surrounding parts.

Road Use, Laws & Compliance

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure any product purchased from Exoracing is legal and suitable for use in their country, region, vehicle class, or intended application.

Some products may be intended for motorsport, show, off-road, or competition use only. The customer is responsible for checking local laws, roadworthiness rules, emissions requirements, insurance requirements, and vehicle inspection standards.

No Liability For Indirect Damage

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exoracing is not responsible for indirect, consequential, or secondary losses arising from the use, misuse, installation, or failure of any product.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Damage to the surrounding parts
• Engine, turbo, exhaust, wiring, hose, or vehicle damage
• Labour costs
• Recovery costs
• Workshop fees
• Loss of vehicle use
• Missed events, track days, competitions, or bookings
• Loss of profit, sales, or business interruption

This does not affect any rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
