Why use Exoracing AN Stainless Steel Braided PTFE Hose?
At Exoracing, we are dedicated to providing the best quality parts possible, ensuring you get the best performance while making safety a priority. Our range of Stainless Steel braided PTFE hose is made to withstand the harsh elements of motorsport.
Our Stainless Steel braided PTFE hose is to be used specifically with PTFE hose, as these differ from standard swivel seal hose ends. Using the correct hose end, you'll have a seal that will cope with pressures of up to 12,000 psi! We strongly recommend not trying to seal PTFE hose with standard hose clamps and finishers, as they're not up to the job!
The stainless steel braiding that encases the PTFE core is excellent for areas where you might encounter rubbing from the vibrations of motorsport. However, for your hoses that need to be more flexible, we recommend going with our range of nylon braided PTFE hoses.
When making fuel lines for your car, especially if you plan on using high-ethanol-content racing fuels, we recommend using a PTFE hose over anything else. The PTFE core won't get eaten away by the ethanol like a normal rubber line would, and it also won't allow any fuel vapour to escape. This means you can run fuel lines through the inside of your car without fear of being gassed out and most probably failing your scrutineering checks!
Our Stainless Steel braided PTFE hose utilizes AN sizing, which makes it straightforward to understand what fittings and hose you can pair together. It is used widely in the automotive industry.
Our hose can be bought in uncut lengths of up to 20m! For example, if you order a quantity of 3, you will receive an uncut 3m length of your desired hose, which is easy to cut to length yourself.
