Exoracing Turbo Oil And Water Line Kit For Subaru Impreza Td04L Installation Guide:

We've compiled a step-by-step guide to help you install your TD04 pipe and gasket kit. This is quite an involved job, so if you are not confident, we recommend getting a professional to carry out the installation.

1. To start the installation, get your car secured on axle stands or a car ramp and ensure everything is cool to touch before you start work. 
2. Begin removing anything that blocks access to the turbo, such as the intercooler and possibly the expansion tank.
3. Now you can see the turbocharger. Start at the top and remove the oil feed line and any vacuum lines coming off the turbo. 
4. Next, you can remove the five bolts holding the turbo to the downpipe, giving you more access to complete the following steps. 
5. Remove the three bolts that secure the turbo to the manifold and the clamp that holds the turbo inlet pipe in place. 
6. You now have plenty of access to remove any final water/oil lines from the turbo.
7. Your turbo is now ready to be removed from the car and inspected for damage.
8. Once you are satisfied with the condition of your turbo, we can change over the oil drain pipe and gasket; make sure to clean the area before seating your new gasket. 
9. Tighten the bolts that hold the drain pipe in place to Subaru's recommended torque values. 
10. Replace the water lines going into the side of the turbo and tighten the banjo bolts back to the manufacturer's recommended torque values. 
11. Bolt your turbo to the downpipe and the manifold, tightening all the bolts to the recommended torque values. 
12. Finally, you can reinstall your turbo vacuum lines. 
13. Reinstall anything that was previously removed to gain access to your turbo. 
14. Once you have installed everything, it's good practice to run your car through a few heat cycles and then recheck all the hardware is still tightened to the manufacturer's torque values.
