Now it's third iteration, the latest Hybrid Racing shifter assembly for the DC5 Integra features a raft of improvements and tweaks over it's predecessor.
Sitting on a stronger and lighter steel frame, the new version also features a revised internal spring mechanism which keeps motion through shifts fluid whilst the four-link design keeps things simple and crisp.
Where the shifter truly shines is adjustability. With the turn of a 5mm allan key, you can position your shift knob up to 2" taller, or 1" lower than the stock position. With the same allan key, you can also adjust the knobs position, bringing it closer or pushing it further away from the steering wheel.
Want to shorten your shift? You can adjust the throw from anywhere between 10% and 50% shorter than the stock Honda throw, whilst gate spacing (left and right motion) is also adjustable. The internal spring can also be swapped out for for a stiffer or lighter spring to increase or decrease resistance.
All of this means that there is a near infinite amount of combinations and minor adjustments that can be made to really tailor your experience.
The revised base plate design is made from formed and welded A6 steel that is both lighter and stronger than it's predecessor.
The links feature a 6061-T6 aluminium construction with stainless steel ball bearings that are designed to provide quite operation with no need for lubrication. The shifter levers are made from stainless steel to avoid unsightly corrosion.
