ORB to AN male-to-male adapters are the best solution for when you have a female AN threaded port that you need to fit with AN hose.
Although an ORB and an AN fitting have the same style of thread, the sealing methods are different and must be used with the correct seal type.
The ORB (O-ring Boss) side of the fitting seals using a rubber o-ring against the mating surface, whereas the the AN side of the fitting, would seal against an AN hose end with an SAE 37 degree flare.
