Our push lock hose ends are designed to hold a seal and not work loose, even under vibration. If you plan on using our push lock hose on fluids exceeding 70°C, we recommend using a hose clamp to ensure no leaks. 

Once our push lock hose ends have been fitted, they will need to be cut to be removed. 

Our push lock hose ends are NOT for use with braided AN hose, as we cannot guarantee a proper seal. All our AN fittings are manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium alloy and then anodised with a sleek, hardwearing coat to protect them.

Exoracing Push Lock Hose Installation Notes

Installing a fitting onto your push-lock rubber hose may seem simple. However, as the tolerances are quite fine, the smaller sizes can be tricky.

It might be tempting to pick up that old pot of grease you have lying around. Although it will help with installation, different types of grease can eat away at the rubber, stop it from sealing correctly or get into the fluid and cause issues further down the line. There are specific approved water-soluble assembly lubes that can be used, such as Dixon P-80 emulsion assembly lube. Using such products will aid assembly and then dry without any adverse effects on your connection.
