Exoracing Turbo Manifold Gasket For Mitsubishi Evo 1-3 Installation Guide:

We've compiled a step-by-step guide to help you install your turbo manifold gasket for your Mitsubishi Evo 1-3. However, if you are not 100% confident doing the job, we recommend a professional installation.

1. Secure your car on a ramp or axle stands, and ensure everything you will be working on has cooled to avoid burns. 
2. Remove any oil/water lines connected to your turbo. Be ready to catch any fluids that could spill out during removal. 
3. Locate and remove all hardware connecting your turbo to the manifold and downpipe.
4. Remove your turbo from the car. Whilst the turbo is out, check the condition of your turbines, seals and flanges. 
5. Check the turbo flange on your manifold and downpipe to ensure they are clean and free from warping or defects. (If any are found, you must get them resurfaced by a machine shop.)
6. Once you are happy with the condition of your turbo, reinstall and tighten all removed hardware to the manufacturer's recommended torque specs. 
7. Install your water/oil lines back to the turbo. 
8. It's now time to run your car through a few heat cycles. After it has cooled for the final time, check that all removed hardware is still at the correct torque values.
