This Mishimoto front-mount intercooler kit is designed to provide the best airflow and cooling possible for 08-14 Subaru WRX and STI, allowing for maximum horsepower and torque potential.

This intercooler was designed using a 28-row intercooler core that will give as much cooling potential as possible without excessive pressure drops that can prematurely damage a turbocharger.

Featuring smooth cast end tanks that have been CFD tested to be sure that the best airflow throughout the intercooler is achieved, and by getting rid of plastic end tanks, you get rid of the potential for the plastic to get brittle and damaged over time.

With mandrel bends in the aluminium pipework, everything has been done to ensure this is the best design that will also work with stock and aftermarket blow-off valves without giving any excessive throttle lag!

The kit you receive will come with everything you need for a complete installation, including a specific crash bar that supports the intercooler and will mount to the existing points on the car, meaning no drilling or cutting will be required. Extra brackets are provided to relocate your overflow bottle to the other side of the engine bay.

NOTES

Mishimoto recommends that this intercooler kit, with or without the optional air intake, not be used with the stock ECU prograing. It is highly recommended that the customer be able to retune the vehicle’s ECU after installing the intercooler kit.

Power gains will vary depending on the size of the turbo, exhaust system, fuel system, and type of ECU tune that is applied to the vehicle. This kit is rated for approximately 700 whp, or 30 psi of turbo boost. Exceeding these horsepower or pressure limits could require a custom-size front-mount intercooler.
