Not only are they cost-effective and enjoyable to build, but they are also relatively easy to use. However, using standard-length off-the-shelf rods can be a frustrating experience, as they are unnecessarily large and heavy and require block and girdle notching.

But with our new rods, those days are over! We have optimized these rods specifically for Vitara JDM D15B SOHC VTEC builds, providing high strength and quality at an affordable price. They are lightweight, strong, and clear on the sleeves and girdle for unparalleled ease of use. With custom rod length, they bring the Vitara pistons to the proper deck height and are much lighter than similar rods available on the market.

Our rods are made of 2-piece forged 4340 chromoly, which provides outstanding strength and quality. Each rod undergoes heat treatment, magnafluxing, CNC machining, and shot-peening to relieve the metal of any stress. The rods feature precision alignment dowels that positively locate the rod cap, maintain big end bore size, and eliminate cap walk. They also have bronze alloy pin bushings for floating wrist pins and come standard with 220,000 psi rated 3/8” ARP2000 rod bolts. We have included instructions and ARP Lube for your convenience.
