We always get asked about specific AN hoses and the size of heat sleeve you would need, and rather than physically measuring or scrolling through product listings, we have decided to make a calculator!
The AN Hose Calculator is a fast, accurate way to choose the right AN hose size and style, see exact inside/outside diameters (mm), and instantly match the best-fit heat sleeve (Sewn, Velcro, Silicone) with heat-rating notes and buy links.
It removes guesswork from hose selection and thermal protection so you can spec confidently for fuel, oil, coolant and general plumbing.
How to use it
- Choose “AN Hose Size”. Select your target size (e.g., AN06, AN08).
- Choose “AN Hose Style”. Pick the construction (PTFE inner with stainless braid, rubber inner with black nylon braid, push-lock, etc.). Different constructions change wall thickness and OD.
- Read your dimensions. The table shows Hose Inside Diameter and Hose Outside Diameter in mm.
- Review the recommended heat sleeves. The calculator lists Exoracing Sewn, Velcro and Silicone options with the recommended size, fit range (mm), heat rating and buy links.
- Add to basket. Use the links to open the exact hose and sleeve product pages in new tabs.
- Install with confidence. If routing is tight, fittings are bulky, or you’ll add extra insulation, consider the next sleeve size up within the shown range.
